How do I sign up?

First, choose between our Rainier Bouquet, Cascadian Stems Arrangement or Olympic Blooms Arrangement to find your ideal selection. Select your delivery frequency and delivery day and add your subscription to your cart. You can then continue shopping or proceed to checkout where you’ll provide us with your payment and delivery details. Once this process is complete, you are officially subscribed to The Stemmery!

How do I change my subscription?

Visit the Manage My Subscription page on our site and fill out a change form. You can change your delivery frequency, delivery day, subscription level or any other subscription related information through this form. 

What if I am going to be out of town or want to take a week off from my delivery?

No problem! Visit the Manage My Subscription page on our site and fill out a change form indicating which dates you would like to skip. You won’t be charged for any deliveries that you skip as long as you notify us at least 5 business days beforehand. You can also choose to donate your deliveries to a local charity instead of skipping them if you will be out of town. If you choose to donate, you will be charged as normal and we’ll be sure to let you know where your gift ends up!

What do I need to know about vessel exchange?

Cascadian Stems and Olympic Blooms arrangements will be delivered in our classic clear glass vessels. These vessels belongs to The Stemmery. After your first delivery, we will exchange your new arrangement for the empty vessel from your last delivery. You can leave your empty vessel at the location where you receive your deliveries. Make sure to leave the name card that arrived with your delivery with your empty vessel so that we can check it in for you.

If you cancel at any time, we will arrange a time after your final delivery to collect your empty vessel.

How does delivery work?

If you live in an apartment or condo, depending on your home’s building’s security restrictions and your availability, we will attempt delivery directly to your door. If this is not allowed or you are not available, a drop off location will be arranged with you and/or your building management.

If you live in a residential home, we will attempt delivery to your door. If you are not home, we’ll look for a safe, covered location to leave your flowers. If you have a place you would like them to be left, you can let us know in your order notes.

If you are subscribing at an office, we will follow delivery procedures for the building or office.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Visit the Manage My Subscription page on our site and fill out a change form. Indicate which date you would like your final delivery to be. Your subscription will be cancelled within 7 business days from the time you submit this form. If you have a scheduled delivery during this period, it will arrive and you will be charged as normal. Remember, there is no cancelation or reactivation fee, so we welcome you back at any time! We’ll contact you after your final delivery to arrange a time to collect your empty vessel. 

What is the difference between and arrangement and a bouquet?

A bouquet is a curated selection of blooms and greens that we’ve loosely arranged in such a way that you can place directly in a vase, or you can enjoy arranging these stems beautifully yourself. The bouquet arrives wrapped in paper. Our arrangements are a selection of flowers and greens that we expertly handpick each week. These stems are then carefully and artistically arranged in a vessel of your choice. An arrangement is delivered to you ready to be enjoyed.

Can I order flowers from The Stemmery just once?

No, The Stemmery is a subscription service, so we don’t sell single arrangements. A subscription to The Stemmery makes a great gift as it continues to remind your recipient that you’re thinking of them each time a delivery arrives. If you’d like to create a gift subscription for a set amount of time, just create your subscription as normal and notify us in your order notes the length of time you would like the subscription to be for.

Can I give a subscription to The Stemmery as a gift?

Absolutely! If you’d like to create a gift subscription for a set amount of time, just create your subscription as normal and notify us in your order notes the length of time you would like the subscription to be for. Be sure to specify the address of your recipient in the “shipping address” field during checkout. And if you’d like us to include a handwritten note with the first delivery, simply type the note in the order notes during checkout.

I don't live in Seattle, Bellevue or Kirkland, can I still order a subscription to The Stemmery?

Some options you can consider:

  • Do you work in Seattle, Bellevue or Kirkland? If so, we’d be happy to deliver your subscription to your office.
  • Do you have a friend or family member in Seattle, Bellevue or Kirkland that we can deliver to and you can pick up your flowers from them?
  • We offer a local pickup option in Seattle and you can select that at checkout. We’ll drop your flowers off there and you can pick them up!

If you live outside of our delivery area and are interested in a subscription, be sure to let us know! We hope to expand soon and we’ll keep you posted if we begin delivery to your area.

Can I select the flowers for my arrangement?

All of our bouquets and arrangements at The Stemmery are unique and carefully curated. Each week, we select greens and blooms from local flower farmers according to what is in season and looks beautiful together. This model helps us keep you surprised and delighted with the different flowers you’ll receive at each delivery and it also helps us eliminate waste and keep our prices low. All of our bouquets and deliveries will be in keeping with our natural, whimsical style.

Can I order subscriptions to be delivered to different locations?

Yes, you can. You will simply need to place separate orders for each unique address that you would like subscription(s) delivered to.

Can I order a subscription for my office or business?

Absolutely. Simply complete the checkout process as normal and we’ll deliver to your business location or office.

Will my flowers be different every time I receive a delivery?

At the Stemmery, we take joy in hand-selecting seasonally available flowers and greens that compliment each other each week. This means that you’ll most likely receive different varieties and combinations of stems every time you receive a delivery.

Where is your "local pickup" location?

We’ve partnered with fantastic local business Seattle Seed Company to offer you a local pickup option rather than delivery. They are located at 151 12th Ave, Seattle, WA. We’ll send you all the information you need if you select Local Pickup at checkout. (And we definitely recommend giving their shop a look when you’re there – we doubt you’ll be able to resist!)

The Stemmery occasionally collaborates with other businesses. If you are pre-ordering for a pop-up location, be sure to take note of the location and pickup date and time when you purchase your flowers.
